Sarah Nathan

Videographer

Sarah Nathan is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and multimedia storyteller currently based in the Pacific Northwest. She joined GHD to help share the story of the Maternal Aid 4 Mothers Africa project in Kenya. Sarah specializes in intimate, emotional storytelling and is passionate about stories involving women's issues, maternal health, community building and the environment. Sarah is a graduate of Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications’ Photography masters program. She has worked as a photographer, filmmaker and producer for a variety of outlets including Blue Chalk Media and NPR. She has also collaborated with GHD partner, DB Peru, as Director of Photography of the upcoming documentary, "The Pink Umbrella". Sarah believes that storytelling has the power to spark dialogue and create change. She is excited to aid in sharing the stories of the work being done by GHD around the world.
