SHARING STORIES OF HUMANS AND HEALTH

Gulraj Grewal

Project Officer

Gulraj Grewal is a project officer at GHD. She organises various events in Nairobi for IQSD (International Quit Soda Day), in the hope that educating young people on the health dangers associated with soda consumption will decrease the incidence of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as obesity, diabetes and hypertension. She recently completed an MSc in Global Health and Development at University College London and plans to go back to university to pursue a PhD in sexual health and family planning. She is currently working in Nairobi for the Centre for Advanced Hindsight (Duke University), which involves research on changing behaviour around saving for healthcare via mhealth. She really enjoys her work as she is passionate about helping people in developing countries using both sustainable and participatory methods.
